The prepaid wallet, explained
The subscription covers the software. Six services are charged from a separate prepaid wallet — AI Assistant, GST filing, e-Invoice, e-Way Bill, SMS and WhatsApp — so you only pay for what you actually use, and you pick the AI model, so you decide the cost of every task.

Is there a free trial? Do I have to register to download?
Every edition starts with a free 7-day trial of the full app — all 47 in-built apps, the mobile app, unlimited companies. No registration to download: click download and the installer starts. You register once during installation — name, email and mobile — and the 7-day trial begins right away.
What's the difference between Desktop and Client/Server?
Desktop Edition is a one-user licence: it runs on one Windows PC, with the mobile app for that user. Client/Server Edition installs a server and lets any number of client PCs — in the office over LAN, or from remote locations over VPN — work on one central database, with unlimited users and the mobile app for every one of them. Both include all 47 in-built apps and unlimited companies.
How does the annual promotional offer work?
You pay one year up front. Desktop Edition is ₹2,000/year — that works out to ₹167/month, 76% off the ₹700 monthly rate, a saving of ₹6,400. A one-time payment that covers the software for ten years — no AMC, and every update installs automatically for the full ten years. Desktop Edition is ₹10,000 (works out to ₹83/month, 88% off) and Client/Server Edition is ₹25,000 (works out to ₹208/month, 86% off). It costs less than a year and a half at the monthly rate.
Is every in-built app really included at one price?
Yes. iAccounting Modular Edition includes all 47 in-built multi-industry apps in every plan, and you install or uninstall any of them according to your needs — keep the screen lean or switch everything on. Whether you use one app or all 47, the price is the same; there are no add-on modules to buy.
How does the mobile app connect?
The mobile app talks directly to your PC or server over your Wi-Fi network, or over VPN when you are away from the office. Your data never goes through our servers — it stays on your own machine.
Is there an AMC or update charge?
No. There is no annual maintenance contract and no charge for updates on any plan. When an update is available, iAccounting installs it automatically, so all 47 apps are always up to date for the whole term of your plan — including the full ten years of the 10-year licence.
How does the price compare with Tally and Busy?
TallyPrime Silver costs ₹22,500 plus GST to start and ₹4,500 plus GST every year for TSS; Busy Standard costs ₹16,500 plus GST to start and ₹5,499 plus GST a year for BLS. Over ten years that is ₹63,000 to ₹66,000 plus GST for one user. iAccounting Desktop Edition is ₹10,000 for ten years, all taxes included, with every app, the mobile app and updates. Can I start monthly and switch later?
Yes. Start on the ₹700 or ₹1,500 monthly plan and move to the annual plan or the 10-year licence from inside the app at any time — the same install, no re-download. You can also move from Desktop to Client/Server as your team grows.
What's the wallet for, and how is AI charged?
Separate from the subscription, the prepaid wallet pays for six services: AI Assistant, GST filing, e-Invoice, e-Way Bill, SMS and WhatsApp. AI is billed on the model you select — each request costs that model's actual API price, so you control the spend. GST returns, e-invoice IRNs and e-Way Bills are charged per return or document; SMS and WhatsApp per message. Recharge any amount and use it as you go.
Do I pay per company or per voucher?
No. Every plan includes unlimited companies and unlimited vouchers. The plan is per installation — one PC for Desktop Edition, one server for Client/Server Edition.
Are prices inclusive of tax? Do I get an invoice?
